Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'nun var olma mücadelesinin tarihe damgasını vurduğu ve 1876 yılında çıktığı tahtta 33 yıl kalarak, bu zorlu süreci ‘Ulu Hakan’ unvanıyla taçlandıran Sultan Abdülhamid Han’ın hayatının kaleme alındığı “Payitaht Abdülhamid” dizisi dev kadrosu ve ES Film imzasıylaTRT1 ekranlarında başlıyor! Çekimlerine Kocaeli Seka Film Platolarında başlanan dizinin, yönetmen koltuğunda “Kurtlar Vadisi”, “Elveda Rumeli” gibi başarılı dizi projeleriyle tanıdığımız Serdar Akar oturuyor. Sultan Abdülhamid Han karakterini ise, “Ihlamur Altında”, “Tatar Ramazan”, “Bir Çocuk Sevdim”, “Babam ve Ailesi” ve en son TRT’nin mini dizisi “Son Destan” gibi projelerde seyircinin severek izlediği Bülent İnal üstleniyor. Tarihin en merak edilen dönemi ile Payitaht Abdülhamid ekranlara taşınacak…
